Finished on the inside too

Outside

Long running stitches in straight columns across the front, back and legs. Spaced evenly, they read as pinstripes from a distance and as hand work up close.

Inside

The waistband facing and the turned-up hem carry a scattered dot pattern. The white pocket bags are worked with small French knots.

Small marks

A tiny embroidered sprig sits beside the waistband button. The fly closes with a brass zip.
